Pre-ordered my MAC Guilty Passions gift sets (: And my thoughts on Glamourdaze

Today I went to the mall during my break and headed over to MAC.
I inquired about pre-orders and one of the makeup artists took me into the back room, where he showed me the Glamourdaze items. I had already pre-ordered the things I wanted from that line so I ended up leaving without buying anything. However, I did get to see all the glamourdaze items in person.
I didn't do swatches (sorry) because I felt I was being watched... Even though the guy left me there. But I will say that the three fluidlines look amazing! If you want to see swatches of it Pinkmissysparklez on Instagram has swatches of the MSFs, Fluidlines, eyeshadows, lipsticks, lip glosses, blushes, eyeliners, and nail polishes. (: she's awesome (:

Also, the eyeshadows are pretty but they are extremely small. Like the size of regular mac shadows...
They're like Extra Dimension minis.

Whisper of Guilt swatched beautifully, but I wasn't willing to pre order it.

The brush sets (the colored ones at least) were so cheaply made, or it seems that way. They were coarse and sparse and seemed like cheap or fake brushes.

So the MAC free standing store told me they were not going to do preorders of the gift sets because that was going to be released on a "first come first served basis".
I was just going to leave it at that and leave the mall, but something told me I should just try to ask Macy's ... Even though the Macy's at Kahala said I couldn't order the sets.
Luckily they said I could !
However, the registers were all down ..

(Talk about ups and downs)

Anyways, I was asked to come back in 10+mins and when I returned, the registers worked again, and I could pre-order !!

I got the three lip gloss sets and the three crushed pigment sets (:
The sets look even more gorgeous and vibrant in person! I was so happy and literally drooling over the sets! Gahh! They were in cute cardboard boxes with a plastic bow on the top as a handle to open the "hat boxes"

And at kahala last week, I got the two lip sets, && the green and orange palettes.

When I go on the 26th, (since I can't go on the 25th -- I have class) I will look at the individual items again and possibly pick them up if any are still in stock. If they sell out, which I'm pretty sure they will, no biggie (: I got everything I really wanted!

If you want to see prices and info on the colors, check out temptalia.com
She always has great info. She's my go-to blogger for new collections and swatches.

Anyways, if you want to see the items in person, go to your MAC store or counter and they should have samples of the products already! You can also pre-order the things you want, as they may sell out before they're even released!!
Have fun!

MAC Guilty Passions 2012 Holiday Collection

Hey guys! I know I haven't been blogging everyday ~ I'm really sorry , but college is crazy and I gotta keep my grades up. Midterms are going on ATM , and I'm stressed as ...
Anyway, I have an update on the MAC holiday collections coming up!

MAC Glamourdaze part 1 will be coming out October 25, which is a Thursday

Part 2 - the Guilty Passions collection will be released on November 8th!
That is also a Thursday

Part 1 includes the eye palettes, single items, brush sets, lip sets (not the lip gloss sets), and basically everything besides the Crushed Pigment sets and lip gloss sets, which will come out on the 8th of November

You can pre-order items before they come out at some MAC counters and locations

I've already pre-ordered a couple of the eye palettes and lip sets. Tomorrow I'll be heading over to my MAC free-standing store to see if I can pre-order more items from the collections. I think that the items from the first collection (extra dimension items) will be selling out really quickly so I'd recommend pre-ordering soon !!

Thanks for reading !

Quote of the Day 10-13

Life Quotes, Life Quotes Images, Life Sayings

Bath and Body works 2 for 20 - 3 wick candles

On sale nowwww
And the Christmas candles are in!

Today I bought Mahogany Teakwood, Frosted Cranberry, pineapple mango, and cotton!!
I'm especially in love with the cotton scent! It smells like Clean - warm cotton perfume. (which smells like freshly washed laundry) omggg
I wasn't even going to smell it at first, but I decided to just go ahead and smell all the candles while I was waiting for my friend returning something.

Btw, at the bottom of every receipt you can do a survey and get 10$ off of $30 + . My friend gave me two coupon/surveys so I got an awesome deal on the candles! Thanks lisaaa(; She also works at bath and body works so she knows all the new stuff in and all that goodness ~
Sooooo...
I bought a bunch of candles that smell amazinggggg ! And I'm really pleased with them

Mahogany Teakwood smells like man~
It does kind of smell like Abercrombie, but not exactly. It smells very good though ~ I bought one for my friend who loves the smell of Abercrombie

Pineapple Mango just smells very sweet and fruity. I'm not sure how else to describe it but I love it ! I was shown this one by my friend who moved away for college ~

Cotton, as I mentioned before smells like just washed laundry - straight out of the washer or dryer. It smells sooooo freakin good and fresh. It makes you feel warm inside. You guys gotta smell this if you like Clean - Warm Cotton

Frosted Cranberry is really popular. One of my friend's co workers had to get it down for us because it was on the top shelf and the front ones were gone - no more spares in the under cabinet. It smells like cranberries. Like a really sweet, fruity scent. <3

Quote Of The Day

Life Quotes, Life Quotes Images, Life Sayings

Sephora Wishlist

Products I hated this month - September

1. Revlon color stay whipped foundation
This foundation had so many good reviews! I decided to splurge (kinda) and pick it up. First of all, it broke me out. Second of all, it did not look good at all. It had a weird color even though I got one that should have matched my skin tone and undertones and it had a pinkish cast to it. Hated this product!!

2. The Saem - Peeling So Good (scrub peeling, brown sugar and almond)
흑설탕 아몬드 스크럽 필링
I got this stuff in Korea from The Saem. It was super cheap - now I know why.
This stuff just... For lack of a better word - sucked. Like there is no scrubbing effect because the sugar just melts immediately when it goes on your face. I seriously didn't get any sort of effect with this and it didn't peel or scrub my face effectively. Please. If you like this product, maybe I'm not using it right - so let me know how you use it!

3. Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash cream cleanser
This stuff was on sale at CVS so I decided to pick it up, as I needed a new face wash. This stuff feels so good in your skin- a nice minty feel - but seriously doesn't do anything. At the least I would expect it to clean your face. It doesn't. I'm still left with oils and dirt on my face after washing- and it hasn't helped my acne.

Urban Decay Vice Palette

I'm so excited for this post! I just bought the Vice Palette a couple weeks back!
I'm a huge Urban Decay junkie~ anything they come out with, I'm gonna buy

I was really happy that this palette had all new shades though, because I have a bunch of repeats.

This palette is awesome, and has a ton of great and really pretty shades-- the only downside is that there is a lot of fallout from some of the shades and the matte shades are a little chalky/ streaky. Still, with the right primers or using the product wet and before you apply your foundation (which I'd highly recommend doing), you can achieve many great looks with this palette (;

The colors I am most disappointed with are Jagged (tons of fallout, chunky) and Chaos (streaky and chalky).
However, I am going to purchase the Too Faced glitter glue shadow insurance, which I think will hold the glitters in place and make sure that they don't fall all over my face. Use a sticky base to keep shadows and glitter in place.

As with all urban decay shadows, these are creamy and buttery and highly pigmented. I really wasn't disappointed by this palette even with the fallout. Thanks Urban Decay - for always coming out with amazing products! I look forward to future collections!!!

Cost: $59
Where to buy: urbandecay.com, sephora.com and possibly Sephora stores (I haven't checked)
I got mine at urbandecay.com
It is part of the holiday 2012 collection

Loreal Infallible eyeshadow - eternal sunshine

Hello ~
Today ill be reviewing the Loreal infallible eyeshadow in Eternal Sunshine. I'm sure that many of you have already heard of this eyeshadow, but I love it so much that I want to review it today!

So let's get started with the review

I have really been loving Loreal infallible eyeshadows. They are so creamy, pigmented, and long wearing

I like to use Eternal Sunshine as an all over lid color, with a darker color in the outer v, or as an inner corner highlight, or sheeted out as a brow highlight on the brow bone. It's one if those versatile colors that really goes with anything, since it is not too yellow and not too gold.
This eyeshadow lasts like crazy! And it is so wearable - i could wear it every day and still be able to change up my looks, by adding other colors to my eyes in conjunction with this one.

In case you haven't heard about these shadows, they are sold at CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart - or any other drugstore that sells cosmetics. They go for about $7 on average but there are always sales and coupons to make them even cheaper!!

Do you own this product? Let me know? Any questions - leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer!

Xoxo, jammie

7 Deadly Sins beauty related tag

.
so let's begin.:

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
Inexpensive: if it was something i bought for myself that I still own now, I'd have to say it's my coastal scents hot pots! $1.99!
Expensive: My most expensive (single) item would have to be my Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill eyeshadows(: but love them, worth every penny (; $32 I believe
But my most expensive items are my palettes. The most expensive palette is my Smashbox Photo Op mega palette (cost me about $120 on qvc) but worth it!

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Revlon colorstay foundation because I love everything about it but it makes me break out! Then again foundation in general does that to me ><

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?

Lorac eye candy full face palette. Omg if you see this thing, you'd understand.

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
False lashes? But idk if it is due to laziness. Laziness would be my skincare ...

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
Eyeliner!

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
Physical?
(Pictures say a thousand words)

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
Mac eyeshadows
