Benefit Creaseless Cream shadow and liner - Strut, Busy Signal, Pot O Gold, Skinny Jeans

I purchased these cream shadow/liners a while back after missing out on some limited edition MAC paint pots.  I wanted something comparable in color to one of the MAC ones, and i heard that Skinny Jeans was just that.  Browsing the color selection, I found that there were quite a few colors I liked so I bought a bunch, even one for my friend (Birthday Suit) because it looked like a color she'd like.

As a shadow, this has proven to be pretty good.  As a base, it is even better. and i LOVE this product as a liner.
I will review each color separately because i have had different experiences with each color.

SHADOW: Pot O Gold
This color was probably the most disappointing when worn alone (without primer or shadow over).  It did crease on me, despite the promises of being "creaseless."  I believe this shade is a Sephora exclusive, so you can only get it at Sephora or sephora.com.  When I used this with UDPP and with a shadow over it, it lasted all day long, no smudging or creasing.  Not to mention, I used it with a matte brown eyeshadow and it gave the shadow such a nice slight shimmer and gold undertones. So, as a base for powder eyeshadow I do recommend this shadow.

The shade "Busy Signal" is one of my favorites because it is so versatile and i use it as an everyday liner.  It lasts all day without creasing and without smudging at all. I love the color and everything. As the first color i tried, this seriously did not disappoint one bit! I love how well it stayed as a liner and as a shadow. This one is just what it says and is how all the other shades should be! It is a brown with kind of red undertones.

Strut was a little bit disappointing because it dried out quickly and flaked when I applied it.  However, this does not hold true for all shadows in this shade, it could just be mine depending on the stock/inventory of the Sephora I went to.  I will talk about the product now - it was a bit more see through and sheer than i would've liked.  I thought it would be an almost black liner, but it takes a bit of work to make it even show up over my brown eyeshadow. So due to this, I don't use this liner much.

My favorite shade of all four i purchased is "Skinny Jeans" (:  This shade is absolutely beautiful. When swatched, it looks a bit similar to Strut, but while "Strut" carries more of a blue undertone, "Skinny Jeans" has gold or more green undertones.  I use this as a sheer or more natural looking liner as it is a soft green black.  It also looks beautiful as a shadow and it is build-able depending on how smudgey or opaque /dark  you would like it to be.
