Neutrogena Skin Clearing makeup (liquid foundation)

I actually really liked this liquid foundation and it was one of the first ones i tried.  However there are a lot of cons to this makeup, it feels greasy and it makes your skin look like an oil slick at the end of the day, and it is pretty pricey.  Also, it is too dark a tone for me now and there was ont a wide range of colors, so it was difficult to find one that matched me, which does not even match my skin now.  The pros kind of outweigh the cons because this makeup does improve the appearance of acne and helps your skin to recover.  It also does not break you out and has a kind of natural look with medium to heavy coverage.  This has salicylic acid in it which can dry out your skin, so you should moisturize at the end of the day when you wash this off.  I recommend it for people who have acne and want to wear makeup to cover it up.

Maybelline Dream Matte Smooth foundation

i got this on sale at CVS for $3.71 xD this is one of the best and smoothest foundations ive ever used.  A little goes a long way and this product goes on sooo smoothly.  it truly lives up to its name.  this foundation comes with a sponge and all you need to do it lightly put some of the foundation on the sponge and apply it to your face.  it goes from a solid balm-ey texture to a smooth liquid feeling consistency. I got this in the same shade that i got my DreamMatte mousse in but this one seemed a bit lighter, which is good because the other foundation was too tan for my skin tone. This foundation did not dry out my face like some foundations do and it left my skin smooth.. It has moisturizers in it, which is another difference between this foundation and the DreamMatte mousse.  I've tried many different foundations and this one was one of the best ones ive tried.  I can honestly say that i will buy this one again.  it did not break me out, did not dry out my skin, and it did not turn my face into a total oil slick throughout the day (:  it has a medium to heavy coverage (depending on how much product you use - however, i do not recommend using a lot of this on your face, a little does go a long way as i mentioned before.
regular retail price: about 10$ ($9.59 at CVS)
the only problem is that this foundation comes in a plastic container instead of the typical glass container that most foundations come in.  this is not a huge problem, so it doesnt bother me at all.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation

I love the way this makeup feels when you touch it.  In the container, it feels like a light, fluffy.. well, mousse! haha.  And when you put it on your skin (using very little of the product or else it gets cakey), it goes on soo smoothly and gives a matte finish. 
This color was good for my skin tone before but i have gotten lighter and it doesnt match me anymore. However, a bit of translucent powder fixes this problem and smooths out my skin tone.  So, i really like this makeup, though it is kind of expensive for a drugstore product - about 10$.  I think it is worth it, and i use it every day.  The mousse might look a little gross after a while but it is still effective.  Dump it if you are majorly concerned about bacteria - i think the lasting time for liquid foundation is 1 year.   anyways, this did NOT break me out, so i love it, and it had pretty good coverage.   This is about as good as the NARS makeup for me - ive been trying to find an alternative to that so that when i run out i wont blow $42.. ><
So, i really think that everyone should try Dream Matte Mousse/ Dream Matte products by Maybelline and I plan on buying and testing more by this line soon.  I'll post reviews when i am sure that the product is what I think it is.

NARS sheer matte foundation

I really really really like this foundation. This only downside to this foundation is the price!!
This is the color I got.  This thing is $42!! I will leave the choice to you on whether this is worth it or not.  Maybe for those who use department store cosmetics on a regular basis this is worth it.  However, I feel that this is a high price for a foundation.  Anyway - I like this foundation so much!  I got it in Strombolli, which is a light yellowey tone that matches my skin, being asian.  I have light skin with yellow undertones.  This is the first department store foundation that did not break me out! (YAY). Most cosmetics I have used in the past (department store mostly) have made my skin red or made me break out.  However this one did not and it was great. It has good coverage - from medium to sorta heavy coverage.  This was perfect for everyday makeup and if you use just a little of it it can go a long way, coverage wise.  I think it was actually more effective when I used less because it left my skin with more of a matte finish and not all shiny (when i used more it got kind of shiny throughout the day).  Love this so much, and recommend it if you are willing to spend that much on makeup! (:

Rimmel StayMatte foundation

  This foundation had a ton of good reviews so i thought to myself.. I HAVE to try this.  as for the results, i wasnt too excited with the product.  It did stay matte, as promised, but the coverage was very uneven and it didnt have very good coverage in general.  I have to say that it would probably work well with a good concealer, so i don't discourage people from trying this out.  As for asian skin tones, this foundation has a pinkish undertone and not a yellow one, which comes out looking fake and weird on my skin, since i have yellow undertones
price wise, this product wasnt so bad (the price of it), but i dont think i'd buy it again/
Container (tube) - the product tends to be very drippy and comes out of the tube quickly, so be careful not to spill out a bunch of product when you open this up (if you do decide to get this foundation - it is good for skin with pink undertones and skin and may not need much coverage.)
this product broke me out and my face and skin was so bad after using this - i needed like a week of recovery time, since i broke out so badly..
